Daniel started his career working on large scale European Projects on the Internet of Things (IoT) and its application towards Smart Cities while pursuing his PhD. After graduation Daniel has further strengthened his experience working as an IoT Technologist, Data Engineer and Senior Backend Engineer.
Now Daniel is turning his attention to the luxury fashion Industry, aiming to disrupt the market with the application of technology in novel and creative ways.
About Lockerbie Digital.
Lockerbie is his wife, Heather Rutherford’s, middle name and the maiden name of her paternal grandmother. The company is inspired by the amalgamation of the old and the modern, and how old techniques and craft can work with technology to enhance rather than be replaced.
Heather Rutherford has worked in the luxury fashion industry for 15 years and serves as an advisor and an industry insider for Lockerbie Digital and the Sonāre Project.
